Quickstart Guide

Welcome to LinkSense! This guide will help you get your affiliate program up and running in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Create Your Account

1. Go to [LinkSense Sign Up](https://linksense.ai/signup) 2. Enter your email address and create a password 3. Verify your email address by clicking the link in your inbox

Step 2: Connect Stripe

LinkSense uses Stripe to process payments and handle affiliate payouts. You'll need to connect your Stripe account:

1. Navigate to Settings → Stripe Integration 2. Click Connect Stripe Account 3. You'll be redirected to Stripe to authorize the connection 4. Once connected, you'll see your Stripe account details

> Note: You can use Stripe test mode keys during development. See our [Testing Guide](/docs/test-mode) for details.

Step 3: Create Your First Product

Before creating campaigns, you need to add a product:

1. Go to Products → Add Product 2. Fill in your product details: - Product name - Website URL - Description - Pricing information 3. Upload product images 4. Click Save Product

Step 4: Create Your First Campaign

Campaigns organize your affiliate program and define commission rules:

1. Go to Campaigns → Create Campaign 2. Enter campaign details: - Campaign name - Start and end dates (optional) - Attribution mode (first click, last click, or coupon priority) 3. Set up commission rules: - Choose commission type (percentage or flat rate) - Set commission value - Enable recurring commissions if applicable 4. Click Create Campaign

Step 5: Generate Affiliate Links

Now you can create links for your affiliates:

1. Go to Affiliates → Links 2. Click Create New Link 3. Select your campaign 4. Choose link type: - Coupon Code: Generate a unique discount code - Referral Link: Create a branded referral URL 5. Customize the link (optional): - Add UTM parameters - Set expiration date - Add custom metadata 6. Click Generate Link

Step 6: Invite Your First Affiliates

1. Go to Affiliates → Invite 2. Enter affiliate details: - Name - Email address - Optional: Custom message 3. Select which campaigns they can access 4. Click Send Invite

Affiliates will receive an email with instructions to join your program.

Step 7: Test Your Setup

Before going live, test your affiliate program:

1. Use Stripe test mode (see [Testing Guide](/docs/test-mode)) 2. Create a test affiliate account 3. Generate a test purchase using a coupon code 4. Verify that: - The commission is tracked correctly - The affiliate dashboard shows the earnings - Payout processing works as expected
